Reachado Masala

"Recheado Masala" is a popular spice paste used in Goan cuisine. Goa has a rich culinary heritage influenced by the Portuguese. This spice paste is a fusion of Indian and Portuguese flavours. “Recheado” is a Portuguese term, means “stuffed” , which aligns with stuffing for fish and seafood’s before grilling or frying. It is made with a mix of spices and vinegar to form a spicy and tangy flavoured marinade.

How to Use: This spice paste is applied or stuffed in fish or seafoods and kept for an hour to marinate which allows the flavours to infuse before cooking. It can also be used in curries or added to other meat dishes to enhance their flavour.

Ingredients: chillies, garlic, salt, spices, sugar, and vinegar (barley).

Storage instructions: Store in a cool dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
